Adam Baer of SDSU is working on a variety of projects under the direction of Prof. Michael Wimberly. Current projects include the "Tick-borne Ehrlichia Risk Assessment" and "Fuel Treatment Effectiveness in the United States." His duties include data management and quality control, spatial/statistical modelling, and cartographic production.
Adam is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and holds a B.S. and M.S. Degree in Forestry from the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU). His Masters research involved investigating potential relationships between the ecological and social dimensions of Missouri landscapes. Upon completion of coursework related to his Masters research, he earned a Geographic Information Science Certificate in 2005.
