Aashis joined the GIScCE as a Geospatial Analyst in August 2011. Prior to that, he worked for Hitechvalley iNet and Worldlink Technologies as a Software Engineer. His duties at GIScCE include developing an automated system for forecasting infectious disease risk using satellite remote sensing data, building Web 2.0 portals, and crunching volumes of GIS & remote sensing data.
