Ndekelu, Marcelline


Marcelline Ngomba Ndekelu is a Lecturer at the University of Kinshasa, Agronomy Department, where she graduated as an Agricultural Engineer in Natural Resources Management. She has been working for years with the University of Kinshasa, the Congolese NGO OSFAC (Observatoire Satellital des Forêts d'Afrique Centrale), and many other institutions as GIS-RS trainer in Central Africa.  

Marcelline is currently a Geography Master student at SDSU – funded by the International Fulbright Program. Her interests include application of GIS and Remote Sensing in environmental monitoring and management. Her current research focuses on urban population estimates from satellite data.
