Dr. Matt Hansen and Mark Broich provide training in Indonesia

Matt Hansen and Mark Broich provided training on Landsat forest cover characterization to analysts from the Indonesian Space Agency and the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry in Jakarta from August 18 to 21.  Following this exercise, both worked with analysts from a number of Indonesian NGO’s at a workshop in Denpasar, Bali from August 24 to 27.  This workshop was hosted by Sekala, an NGO focused on environmental monitoring.
