SDSU ranks 27th globally and 7th in the USA for remote sensing research

In the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2017 by the consulting firm ShanghaiRanking, SDSU placed 27th internationally and 7th in the USA in the subject area of Remote Sensing!

The ranking methodology used four complementary metrics of research productivity over 2011-2015, including number of publications, number of publications in top journals, number of articles with international collaborators, and the citation impact of articles. This ranking is a remarkable achievement that is closely connected with your scholarly output.
