Research Interests: Landscape ecology, forest ecosystem and disturbance ecology, GISRS application, Ecological modeling
Education: Zhihua received his Ph. D. in ecology from Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences on Jun 2010, and he received his B.S in environmental science in Northeast Normal University on Jun 2005. His Ph.D. research focused on the effects of fire on ecosystem structure and function in Northeast China boreal forests.
