Integrating GPS, GIS, and geostatistics in plant disease management

Dr. Byamukama is an Extension Plant Pathologist in the Plant Sciences Department at SDSU.  He received his PhD from Iowa State University and, in addition to his extension role, his research addresses management of agricultural diseases in South Dakota, including integrated disease management, plant disease epidemiology, forecasting and prediction, yield loss modeling, plant disease diagnostics and surveillance, and application of Geographical Information Science in Plant disease epidemiology and management.
