Dr. David Pyke is a USGS Research Ecologist and Associate Professor at Oregon State University in Corvallis.  David’s research focuses on the monitoring and restoration of plants and soils in the Great Basin and Intermountain West.   Research topics include fire rehabilitation effects and effectiveness, indicators of rangeland health, invasive species ecology, and restoration of shrub steppe ecosystems.
