Tree-grass interactions in global savannas: Investigating the effects of climate, environmental stress and neighborhood density

Justin Dohn is a graduate student in the Graduate Degree program in Ecology (GDPE) at Colorado State University.  His research focuses on the ecology of tropical savannas. Using examples from field work in West, East and Southern Africa he will discuss how competition and demographic interactions influence the structure and spatial organization of tree-grass systems.
